Art of Braising: Short Ribs 12/13/2017

Cold weather Food...Learn the different cuts of steak and the different types of grading.  Chef Jeff will explain the different grading systems used to determine the beef's pricing and the process on selecting the right cuts and how to properly BRAISE meats.  Learn the diffrence between Kobe, Prime, Choice, Select and then take it to the next level with the Braising component..  Our Chef will answer all of your questions, teach you how to buy whole and plan dinners, and demonstrate how to pick the best cut of beef for your desired outcome.  Dont be afraid of short ribs, pot roast, or beef bourgignone again. Bring some wine BYOB and enjoy this class.   RSVP with deposit, minimum 10 signups to hold class.  Chef Jeff will them prepare dinner: Red wine braised Short Ribs, Short Rib Ragout with Papardelle, sides and salads

 

Class fee is $45 which includes demonstration and dinner

 

Class Time: 7:00pm-9:00pm WEDNESDAY

 

Dinner will be served family style.  Recipes will not be distributed so please bring the necessary instruments if you wish to record the lesson or recipes.
